Convert AVIF images to JPG
AVIF is a newer image format that many programs cannot open yet. Convert AVIF files to JPG for wide compatibility. Your browser must be able to open AVIF, which current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari can.
PNG keeps every pixel, so files are larger. Quality and file size limits do not apply.
Transparent areas become white in JPG. Location and camera data are removed. Animated pictures keep their first frame.

My browser says it cannot open the AVIF file.
Your browser needs to support AVIF to read it. Update the browser or try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Are my pictures uploaded to convert them?
No. PhotoFit converts files inside your browser. The pictures never leave your device.
How many files can I convert at once?
Up to 50 files, 25 MB each and 300 MB in total. Download them one by one or as a single ZIP.
Which formats work?
In: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and HEIC (iPhone photos). Out: JPG, PNG or WebP. AVIF input needs a browser that can open AVIF, which current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari can.
Is information like location removed?
Yes. Each picture is redrawn and saved as a new file, which drops location, camera and date data.
Why is the picture smaller or larger after converting?
Each format compresses differently. JPG and WebP files get smaller as you lower the quality, and PNG files are lossless, so they are usually larger for photos.
